Doug has had 30 years Police experience, and has served in the Metropolitan Police Force, Dorset Police and Devon & Cornwall Constabulary.

He has received extensive driver training and has been a Grade 1 Police Instructor since 1991. He is qualified to drive all categories of vehicles, including tanks.

Doug holds the Grade 6 Approved Driving Instructor qualification. During his police service he has been an instructor of Police VIP Escort teams and has escorted numerous members of the Royal family and senior Governmental Ministers.

Doug has been permanently involved in Police Driver Training since 1997 and now delivers Police instructor courses. He is also a Grade 1 Police Motorcycle Instructor and holds the DSA CBT-DAS-RPMT qualifications.

Doug is qualified to instruct on all classes of vehicle and can deliver specialist training in evasive driving and off-road driving.

Doug is a professional and conscientious instructor who is patient, with a vast amount of experience to call upon.

All courses are accompanied by comprehensive notes to act as an aid memoir to students.
